Bryan Lee, CFP®, MBA
Bryan Lee founded Strategic Financial Planning Inc. to provide fee-only financial planning and investment advisory services to individuals and small businesses using a unique financial life planning approach and process. In addition to being a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner, he is a registered financial advisor of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) network. He has been on D Magazine’s list of Best Financial Planners in Dallas every year running and named a Five-Star Wealth Manager.
Bryan holds an undergraduate degree in Investments and an MBA in International Finance from the University of North Texas in Denton. He began his financial career in 1993 with Fidelity Investments. He also has training through the Sudden Money® Institute for advising individuals on managing sudden wealth.
He is on the editorial review board of the Journal of Financial Planning, a volunteer and past president of CITY House, a non-profit providing shelter and counseling to abused/neglected children, as well as a Junior Achievement volunteer teacher. He has also served as President and then Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and taught continuing education courses at several local universities and colleges on personal finance.
Bryan is frequently interviewed and has appeared in local and national magazines, newspapers and journals including The Wall Street Journal, Investors Business Daily, CNNfn, USA Today, Smart Money, Kiplingers, Financial Planning Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, and has appeared on WFAA Channel 8 News.
Josh Morris, CPA/PFS, CFP®
Josh Morris serves as a financial planner with Strategic Financial Planning and is passionate about developing relationships with clients, learning about their dreams, and helping them reach their goals.
Josh has over six years experience in the financial services industry in accounting, tax, and wealth management. Josh graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oklahoma Christian University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and started his career at Ernst & Young LLP. While there, he focused his efforts on high net worth individuals and their closely held businesses but realized he wanted to do more for his clients than strictly accounting and tax and estate planning. Josh joined Tolleson Wealth Management as an Analyst serving several high-net-worth clients and became the Chief Financial Officer at Strait Capital Company, where he also served as the CFO of a large, Dallas-based family office. During this time, he also completed the Certificate Program in Financial Planning through Southern Methodist University.
Josh is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Professional, a CPA in the state of Texas, and also holds the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the AICPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Planning Association.
Josh is happily married to his wife Lindsey, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, and playing the sax. Josh is involved with the North Dallas community through his church and also supports the Village of Hope in Ghana, Africa.
